Bob's Blog!

Bob grew up in Arvada Colorado with constant dreams of being a chef. He worked with his mother and grandmother in the kitchen learning their secrets and tricks.

After high school he moved around several different jobs until he was laid off in 2003 and decided to follow his life long dream and attended culinary school. At Johnson & Whales he excelled in all his classes and really expanded his love for all things food related.

Since then he has worked at several restaurants and catering companies, including the prestigious Stanley Hotel. He has always loved the flavors of the orient and excels at Asian cuisine.

In 2007 he gave a presentation on Japanese cooking at Nan Desu Kan which became an instant hit. In 2008 he has been asked to increase the length of the panel. As well he filmed his first cooking demo and sold the DVD at the convention, donating all of the proceeds to the American Diabetes Association. Bob is diabetic himself and relishes the chance to donate to the cause.
